Plan your transfer admission process and use our timeline below to make sure you’re on track to meet all milestones, deadlines and requirements.
First year in community college
August
- Research your UC Davis major and familiarize yourself with prerequisite coursework.
- Create a , or UC TAP.
- Meet with a or ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ community college counselor to discuss your transfer goals and plan a UC Davis , or TAG, available at all ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ community colleges.
October
- Oct. 1–March 2: Apply for financial aid annually at or .

Second year in community college
August

- Mid-November: UC Davis TAG decisions are released.
- Nov. 30: Deadline to submit your .

- Establish a UC Davis and check it frequently for updates about your admission status.

- March 2: Submit your Cal Grant GPA verification form by March 2.

- Check your UC Davis admission status and financial aid award starting late April, at .
- June 1: Submit your Statement of Intent to Register, or SIR and Statement of Legal Residence, or SLR, online if admitted by June 1. You can only SIR to one UC campus.
