Plan your transfer admission process and use our timeline below to make sure you’re on track to meet all milestones, deadlines and requirements.

First year in community college 

August

  • Research your UC Davis major and familiarize yourself with prerequisite coursework.
  • Create a , or UC TAP.
  • Meet with a or ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ community college counselor to discuss your transfer goals and plan a UC Davis , or TAG, available at all ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ community colleges.

October

  • Oct. 1–March 2: Apply for financial aid annually at or .

  • Update coursework and grade information, at the close of each term, on your .

Second year in community college 

August

  • Meet with a to ensure you’re on target with your transfer plan.

September

  • Sept. 1-30: Submit your application.

October

  • Oct. 1-Nov. 30: Submit your by Nov. 30.
  • Oct. 1-March 2: Apply for financial aid annually at or .

November

  • Mid-November: UC Davis TAG decisions are released.
  • Nov. 30: Deadline to submit your .

December

  • Establish a UC Davis and check it frequently for updates about your admission status.

  • Jan. 31: Priority deadline to complete the , or TAU.
  • Notify UC Davis of any changes in your planned coursework using .

  • March 2: Submit your Cal Grant GPA verification form by March 2.
  • Notify UC Davis of any dropped courses and D or F grades you receive during spring term at .

April-June 1

  • Check your UC Davis admission status and financial aid award starting late April, at .
  • June 1: Submit your Statement of Intent to Register, or SIR and Statement of Legal Residence, or SLR, online if admitted by June 1. You can only SIR to one UC campus.
  • June 4: Apply for the UC Davis by June 4, if admitted.
