April 9, Saturday -- Warden Scott Kernan of ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ State Prison, Sacramento, will be among the speakers at "The Truth Unlocked: A ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ Prison Law Symposium" at UC Davis. Panels at the conference will analyze prison conditions, gender and oppression in the system, immigration detention and issues after release. Other speakers will include Mary Rubach and Judy Greenspan of ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ Prison Focus, Alice do Valle of Justice Now, and Daniel Torres of the UC Davis Immigration Clinic.
